Camera movement and editing

1) Camera movement

Whip pan : The whip pan shot for 0.13 to 0.15 shows two character rushing out of the room emphasising the tension. It also helps portray the quick reaction the characters had maybe suggesting their desperation to finding this wanted person. This makes the audience feel a sense of excitement as they look forward to see whether they can catch him or not.

Crane : The crane shot used at 1.47 to show the formation in which the main character was surrounded portraying a sense of agitation as the audience would feel helpless for the main character expecting him to have no way out and end up being caught. Another crane shot was also used at 2.51 to emphasise the height of which the main character was about to jump off which would make the audience feel nervous as there would be a high chance he would not survive even though he does somehow end up surviving.

Hand held : The hand held, shaky shot used at 1.55 shows a close zoom up toward the main character and another character talking to that character which makes us feel closer with the main character as we see his perspective. This would make an audience almost feel a pressure and suspense as they await to see what is yet to come.

2) Editing

Juxtaposition : The juxtaposition editing technique can be seen being used at 2.46 when they're in a dramatic flying scene and are seen to be breaking through houses but then the camera cuts to an old man peacefully sitting in his chair during this chaotic mess. This can bring a sense of humour to the audience as they feel a sudden relief from the tension for a split second.

Cut : At 0.41 there is a sudden cut from a man reading a news papers face to the main characters face. This suggests that there was some correlation to what the newspaper read and the main character. This could make the audience feel like he is a negative character or a criminal giving him a negative imagery.

3) Shots and Camera angles

Low angle : At 1.25 a low angle has been used to show the power the main character holds in that specific scene. This makes the audience feel like he could possible escape from that particular scene and gives them a sense of hope.

Close up shot :  At 1.37 a close up shot has been used to emphasise the expressions the boy is expressing which consists of desperation for the main character to stop. It portrays the main character as almost villainous and negatively
